Warama Tour Packages

Warama Tours offer welcoming, hands-on cultural experiences led by First Nations guides on Darumbal Country in Central Queensland. Our tours are about slowing down, spending time on Country, and learning through story, experience, and connection.

You’ll explore significant places, learn about bush tucker and traditional survival knowledge, take part in cultural activities, and experience storytelling, dance, and music that share both ancient and living culture. Every tour is different, shaped by the land, the people, and the stories being shared.

Warama Tours are suitable for visitors, families, schools, and community groups who want a genuine cultural experience. We focus on sharing culture in a respectful, relaxed, and meaningful way — creating moments that stay with you long after the tour ends.

Nurim Yilan Tour (Mt Archer Lookout)

Join us for an immersive afternoon cultural experience on Nurim (Mount Archer), one of the most significant sites on Darumbal Country. Guided by a First Nations cultural facilitator, this tour invites guests to slow down, connect to Country, and learn the stories that have lived here for thousands of years.

As we walk the elevated boardwalk and take in sweeping views over Dhurrumbul Country, you’ll hear Dreamtime narratives, cultural teachings, and local history that bring Nurim to life. Along the way, guests will discover traditional survival knowledge, including bush tucker identification, natural navigation techniques, native plant uses, and ancient skills that helped our ancestors live sustainably on the land.

The experience blends storytelling with hands-on learning, offering a deeper understanding of how culture, landscape, and survival skills are interconnected. Whether you're curious about fire-making practices, tracking, or the way Darumbal people read Country to find food and water, this tour provides authentic insight into traditional ways of living.

Designed for families, school groups, community organisations, and visitors seeking a meaningful cultural adventure, the Afternoon Nurim Tour delivers a memorable journey rich in knowledge, connection, and stunning natural beauty.
